| Please post any installation issues here. Include your P.C. Specs - Operating system, On board Memory (Ram), Processor and speed, and any service packs or antivirus installed.
To Install on PC's with a Vista Operating system, right click on the ProEFI Installer.exe and run as administrator.
To Install on PC's with a 64 bit operating system, install the software completely, once the install process has completed, copy the entire 'ControlCore Server' folder from C:Program Files (x86)\Mototron and past it in to the C:program Files\Mototron folder.
Then copy the 'Mototron' folder from the C:Program Files (x86)\Common Files directory to the C:Program Files\Common Files directory.
On 32 bit machines running xp, none of the previous steps are needed.
Thank you!

As you know, Windows 7 is a bran new release, it may be a bit before we can get our hands on a Windows 7 machine to test and see what the issue is. Have you tried to run it in xp mode and see if that allows you access?

Thas when I click online, then it takes sometime buit I get the page but nothing works with the car running.Windows 7 lets you scyn from old systems like windos 98 95 vista vista 1 and vist 2. Should I try to run compatiablity with vista? Also do I run as a adminstrator also? Ican check the box yes or no.Thanks

Control Core Server is the communication software that links the user software to the CAN. When it stops working (crashes), no communications can be made with the ECU.

Please help. Thanks! Did you follow the instructions in the readme file? It looks like you ran the .msi file instead of the install.exe

if you are getting that message, you didn't run the install file, read the README file FIRST!

| Version 2 is available on the website on the software page. We have it installing and running on dozens of windows 7 machines. Make sure and uninstall your old stuff first. | |

Thanks! and just want to verify, the ECU would have to be updated to version 2 as well to connect once the software is updated?
