| The ProEFI User software is compatable with WIndows 7. You will need to download and install the Kvaser drivers that are compatable with Windows 7 from this link http://www.proefi.com/News.phpClick on the Windows 7 Comapatable 'Drivers Available' link to download the driver, then install! | Do I have to remove the old downloads that did not work first or just download the new stuff and it will be good?? | |

It's always a good idea to uninstall first. If you are already on 1.8, then just install the new Can driver over what you already have. | |

| I did the download I get the install notes the 1.8 shortcut and the drivers when I run the proefi install wizard I keep getting a error There is a problem with this windows installer package. A program required for the install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.
I removed the old files PFS installed and clicked on the like for windows 7 and installed everything, but thats what I get when I try to do the set up. I dod not get the online/offline page so this part of the download is for that part I guess. Any tips? | |

| can you tell me what to click on to run as a admin. I tried that on the proefi installer but got the messg I posted on the post above. I have the drivers ans the install notes and the pro efi installer but its giving me the same messg. | |

You right click on the Proefi installer and select 'Run as administrator'. You have to do this on all Vista and Windows 7 machines. | |

| Merry xmas, I got it to load up the pro efi home page, thanks. Any word on my cable PFS sent you guys, Im still waiting to get it, its the defective one? | |

There wasnt anything wrong with the cable, you needed the drivers listed on our website. It was scheduled for delivery at PFS on Thursday. Merry Xmas! ProEFI | |
