A couple of things you want to look at. You first need to make sure that the version of firmware you are using is present in C:Ecufiles\TDBDLL folder, it will not connect if the proper .dll file is present. If you are on an older firmware, this could be your issue. THe user software is designed around current firmware, so talk with your dealer to see what you need do there. You also want to see what if your tuner has you on a firmware with something other than a 250k baud rate. The default baud rate for the user software is 250k, this can be changed by opening the user software and right clicking on the controlcore server icon and selecting show signal explorer. Then select server setup and for the first channel, set it to the appropriate baud rate.

| I downloaded the 1.8 just last week so it should be up to date unless there is something in the ecu that you are talking about. | |

It's the .dll file that goes with the firmware you are on. If you are on an old enough version, the .dll file won't be included in the download, you will have to manually put it in the folder. The easiest way to tell is to get the version of firmware you are on, and look in that folder and see if it is there.

| PFS tried his cable and everything worked good, I have a bad cable and he is sending it back. Just want to say the user software is badass to use. Ray really liked it and I did too. | |

Did you try just changing the adapter for the CAN connection at the ECU? It might be in the adapter. Either way we will of course take care of it! Thanks! We are working very hard on the User software getting everything ready for the V2 software release.

We tested the cable, and found no problem. It looks like it is in the driver you are using. The updated driver on the website should take care of the problem. The cable is on it's way back to PFS.
