We have been working on the auto transmission controls for the Toyota and GM transmissions. So far the results have been spectacular. A couple of key benefits ProEFI offers over it's competitors.

Trans line pressure control - Our system has 100% control over line pressure. You don't have to worry about overdriving the drivers that control the solenoid and having it shut down. Line pressure is reduced on shift enagement from Park/Neutral to "soften" engagement.

Converter Lockup - The lock up strategy we have encorporated is the same type of strategy the O.E.'s use. No more hysterisis problems, making the entry of lockup feeling like the transmission has shifted into another gear. Input shaft speed is matched with engine speed before converter lockup is allowed. This prevents damage to the lockup plates upon engagement and also results in a seemless lockup of the torque converter.

Torque management - This is another strategy used by the O.E.'s. While some aftermarket engine management systems use timing retard, their systems are based upon time, not if the transmission has physically entered the next gear. With the ProEFI, the ECU knows when the actual gear change is made, then it restores engine torque. This prevents the excessive lag in torque reduction that changes with each gear change, allowing for a more precise reduction in engine torque.

While we are always continually improving our systems, these basic features are ready for release and available at your ProEFI dealer.

I presumed you have something to help the auto trans for drag launch ?

Launch control works with either automatic or manual transmission cars.
