Hey everyone,
Kettering FSAE having an issue with our ProEFI 48 setup on a Yamaha WR450f single-cylinder. Upon cranking, the engine fires as it should but then dies when it should enter the afterstart phase. The ignition sync quality and timing was confirmed good by replacing the EFI intake with the engine's stock carb. The crank-to-run rpm can be changed to a high number and the engine will run (richly) on its cranking PW. Removing the injector from the intake and spraying into a container using a pseudo rpm, it can be seen that the injector fires as it should until the crank-to-run rpm is exceeded and the injector stops spraying.
In an effort to fix this, we've copied the applicable settings from our running ProEFI 128 setup to the 48. This did nothing to change the condition, unfortunately.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem or have some good input to share?
