Internal Wideband Problem Empty
PostSubject: Internal Wideband Problem   Internal Wideband Problem Icon_minitimeSat Mar 26, 2011 1:35 am

Does this forum get checked?

I have 128 pin pro efi wtih internal ugeo wideband. On a 2jzGTE Single turbo, manual transmission, vvti, 1000cc, 93 octane,
I set up the car and had everything working with what seemed to be perfectly running for a few weeks.
The wide band cycled perfectly, held targeted afrs at cruise, at wot held solid 11 afrs, decel afr are proper.
I drove the car for a week with out connecting laptop to it, so no sftware or hardware changes, no other changes either.

The wideband now reads 13.77 +/- .10 or 14.xx +/-0.10 all the time no matter the load or tps... at idle, cruise, and wot. sometimes on down shift it will go 16afr sometiems it wont move.

Naturally double check my setup, made sure wires were tight and connnected, plugs and harnesses were tight. Checked for fault codes. All other sensors read correctly, especially the tps was reading correctly as well as the map sensor.

So I bought a brand new wideband internal sensor. Same issue.

Any Ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like a power/current issue to the sensor. Where are you picking up switched power for the sensor? You may want to contact tech@proefi or call the office and we can help you diagnose it.
